The details
On Palm Sunday, the church distributed palm leaves and shared Easter cards with homebound and nursing home members. The Wednesday Lenten Bible Study concluded on April 1st, and the church hosted a Good Friday service that welcomed guests from two other area churches. Some MUMC members attended a sunrise service and breakfast at the Bronaugh Christian Church before returning to Moundville for the Easter worship service, which featured string players performing hymns and a youth quintet playing a Swahili-inspired composition. The service concluded with communion, and was followed by the annual Easter egg hunt in the church yard.
