Roseau Hosts Hybrid Firearm Safety Classes

Roseau, Minnesota is once again offering its popular hybrid firearms safety classes, with an orientation and registration event on March 16th, self-paced online coursework to be completed by April 20th, an in-person Firearm Fundamentals session on April 20th, and a Range Day on April 25th (with a weather alternate date of May 2nd). The classes are open to students 11 years of age and older.

The firearms safety classes in Roseau include an initial orientation and registration event on March 16th, followed by self-paced online coursework that must be completed by April 20th. There will then be an in-person Firearm Fundamentals session on April 20th, and a Range Day on April 25th (with a weather alternate date of May 2nd) where students can put their skills to the test. The classes are open to students 11 years of age and older.

• The self-paced online coursework must be completed by April 20, 2026.
• The in-person Firearm Fundamentals session will be held on April 20, 2026 from 6:00-8:30 p.m. at the Roseau City Center.
• The Range Day is scheduled for April 25, 2026 at the Northland Gun Range north of Roseau on the east side of Highway 310, with an inclement weather alternate date of May 2, 2026.
