The Moorhead High School Class of 2027 has three football standouts - quarterback Jett Feeney, running back Taye Reich, and wide receiver David Mack - who have all verbally committed to continue their academic and athletic careers at the University of Minnesota.

In the 2025 season, Feeney threw for over 2,200 yards and 27 touchdowns, Reich rushed for 1,416 yards and 16 scores, and Mack led the state with 121 receptions, 1,607 receiving yards, and 26 touchdowns.
