The Rogers High School girls and boys basketball teams both split their first two games in February. The girls team won 76-70 over Spring Lake Park on Feb. 2 but lost 60-57 to Moorhead on Feb. 7. The boys team won 61-60 over Sauk Rapids-Rice on Feb. 2 but lost 82-45 to Spring Lake Park on Feb. 6.

For the girls team, Alexa Juntunen led the way in the 76-70 win over Spring Lake Park with 27 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals. Kinnley Cooligan added 26 points, including 4 three-pointers, and 5 steals. In the 60-57 loss to Moorhead, the team was unable to hold on for the victory. For the boys team, Nathan Schlechter scored 15 points in the 61-60 win over Sauk Rapids-Rice, with Jackson Fellows (14 points), Tucker Sawdey (10 points) and Sam Plombon (10 points) also contributing. But the boys were blown out 82-45 by Spring Lake Park in their other February game.
