Franciscan Sisters Host Taizé Prayer Services

The Franciscan Sisters of Little Falls are hosting a series of Taizé prayer services open to the public at their St. Francis Convent campus. The first service will be held on Tuesday, January 27th at 5:30 p.m. in the Gathering Space, with additional services planned for February 24th, March 24th, April 28th, and May 19th, 2026.

Taizé prayer is a contemplative practice that provides a peaceful respite from the busyness of daily life. By opening these services to the public, the Franciscan Sisters are offering the local community an opportunity to experience this meditative tradition and find spiritual renewal.

The details

The Taizé prayer services will include readings, periods of silence, and brief repetitive songs. No prior experience with meditation or singing is required. Each service will last approximately 45 minutes. Participants can enter through the Main Entrance, Door F on the St. Francis Convent campus.
