The owners of Farrand Hall, a renowned dining destination in Southwest Michigan, are opening a new diner and bakery in the town of Three Rivers next month. The 40-seat Farrand Hall Diner & Bakery will offer a menu blending European-inspired dishes and American diner classics, with a focus on curating the dining experience for customers.
Why it matters
Farrand Hall has built a reputation as one of Michigan's premier dining destinations, drawing Michelin-starred chefs from across the country to its ticketed dinner series. The new diner and bakery in Three Rivers will allow the Farrand Hall team to bring their unique culinary vision and hospitality to a new community, expanding their footprint in Southwest Michigan.
The details
Farrand Hall founders James Gray and Jacob Hagan plan to open the new Farrand Hall Diner & Bakery in early February, taking over a former farm-to-table restaurant space in downtown Three Rivers. The 2,000-square-foot diner will feature a menu developed by Farrand Hall's executive chef Ken Miller, with items like salads, a chicken sandwich, a faux crab roll, pot pie, short ribs, and trout. The diner will also offer a limited selection of batch cocktails, wine, and canned beer. Gray says the streamlined menu is designed to provide a curated dining experience for customers, similar to the ticketed dinners at the Farrand Hall flagship location.
