The candidates include Ella Baker (Airport girls track), Camryn Cousino (Jefferson-Erie Mason soccer), Aspen Esser (Bedford boys lacrosse), Jakob Furkas (New Boston Huron baseball), Olivia Gratz (Airport girls basketball), Ally Griffith (Whiteford softball), Josh Hargraeves (Jefferson boys track), Nora Kinsey (SMCC girls soccer), Blake Lechy (SMCC baseball), Carson Liedel (Monroe baseball), Olivia Piepsney (SMCC softball), Anthony Tamahkyarov (Airport boys track), and Peyton Zajac (Airport girls basketball). Polls will remain open through 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25.

The Bedford girls basketball player was crowned Monroe County Athlete of the Week for March 9-15, collecting 7,031 votes.
JR Hess
The Dundee boys swimmer finished second in the previous week's voting with 4,539 votes.

The Erie Mason-Ida boys swimmer finished third in the previous week's voting with 2,043 votes.
