While it's unclear if Stardust Metallic will return for 2027, early buildouts typically indicate a paint option will be replaced rather than carried over.

The details

The 2026 Chevy Traverse brings minor updates compared to the 2025 model, including new exterior paint options like Polar White Tricoat and Sandstone Gray. However, the Stardust Metallic color (code GXK) that was introduced in 2024 and offered on the High Country and RS trims for 2026 has now been built out for the remainder of the model year. Mechanically, the 2026 Traverse is carryover, still using the turbocharged 2.5L I4 LK0 engine paired with the GM 8-speed automatic transmission.
