Jakari Lipsey, a four-star offensive tackle from Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan, has announced he will take an official visit to the University of Michigan the weekend of June 5-7. Lipsey is ranked as the No. 82 overall prospect in the 2027 class and the No. 8 offensive tackle nationally.
Why it matters
Michigan's offensive line coach Jim Harding is making in-state recruiting a priority, and landing Lipsey would be a major boost for the Wolverines' 2027 class, which currently ranks 21st nationally.
The details
Lipsey will take five official visits this summer, starting with UCLA on May 15-17, followed by Wisconsin on May 29-31, Michigan on June 5-7, Minnesota on June 12-14, and LSU on June 19-21. The Wolverines already have three players committed to their 2027 class, including two offensive linemen.
