A 27-year-old Jackson woman has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with a fatal shooting earlier this week at an apartment complex on Raymond Road, police said. Jackson Police Department officials said Jamecia Harper was taken into custody by Robbery/Homicide Unit detectives for her alleged involvement in the killing of Kynjarious Rockingham, 30, who was found deceased in the parking lot of the Chapel Ridge Apartments.

Jamecia Harper, 27, was later arrested and charged with murder and felon in possession of a firearm in connection with the killing.
