Yokogawa Electric Corporation, a global leader in industrial automation and control, has entered into a global agency agreement with U.S.-based CMC Solutions to expand the availability of CMC's predictive emission monitoring systems (PEMS) outside the U.S. Under the agreement, Yokogawa will leverage its global service network to market, deploy, and provide comprehensive support for CMC's PEMS software worldwide, enabling industrial customers to meet emissions regulations more efficiently.
Why it matters
This partnership allows Yokogawa to expand its emission monitoring portfolio by providing end-to-end services for CMC's PEMS technology, which uses advanced algorithms to predict emissions based on process data. This helps industrial customers across sectors like chemicals, oil & gas, and power generation meet increasingly stringent environmental regulations through a cost-effective and data-driven approach.
The details
CMC's PEMS platform uses a proprietary statistical engine to build highly accurate emissions models for equipment like gas and liquid-fired turbines, boilers, and other industrial machinery. The software automatically generates electronic emissions reports in formats accepted by regulatory agencies. CMC's PEMS are already deployed at over 100 sites globally. Yokogawa will offer PEMS to its existing continuous emissions monitoring system (CEMS) customers, enabling seamless integration with current systems and reliable emissions monitoring through advanced hardware and predictive modeling.
