Bright white accents add a retro touch to the off-road-oriented pickup.

Jeep is celebrating 85 years of the Wrangler in 2026 with a new special edition Gladiator pickup called the Whitecap. The Whitecap features a white-painted roof, white seven-slot grille, bespoke graphics, and a unique painted hood on higher trims. The package is available across the Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave and Mojave X model lines for $495.

Why it matters

The Gladiator Whitecap is part of Jeep's "Gladiator Convoy Campaign" to commemorate the Wrangler's 85th anniversary, offering customers more colors, customization and flexibility across the lineup. The retro-inspired look is reminiscent of recent Easter Jeep Safari builds, appealing to Jeep enthusiasts who value heritage and individuality.

The details

The Jeep Gladiator Whitecap trim mirrors the Wrangler special edition of the same name that debuted last year. The package includes a white-painted roof, a white seven-slot grille, bespoke graphics down the side of the truck, and a unique painted hood on the Rubicon, Rubicon X, Mojave and Mojave X trims. Rubicon and Mojave buyers will need to spec the body‑color fender flares and Freedom Top for the $495 pricing to apply.

  • The Jeep Gladiator Whitecap is slated to arrive on dealer lots this spring.
  • The Wrangler Whitecap special edition first appeared in December of last year.

We continue to listen to our customers, and their feedback is guiding us toward offering more colors, more customization and more flexibility across the lineup.”
