Virtuix Inc., the developer of full-body virtual reality systems, is expanding its in-home gaming system Omni One to several European markets, including Germany, the UK, and France. The move comes just weeks after Virtuix's Nasdaq debut, where it reported a 138% year-over-year revenue increase for the six months ended September 30, 2025. Virtuix CEO Jan Goetgeluk said the international expansion marks a major milestone for the company, as Europe is a major PC gaming market projected to reach $30.4 billion by 2032.
Why it matters
Virtuix's expansion into Europe with its Omni One system, often described as the 'Peloton for Gamers,' represents the company's efforts to capitalize on the growing VR gaming market. The Omni One allows users to physically move through virtual worlds, providing a more immersive experience than traditional controllers. This expansion follows Virtuix's successful IPO and capital raise, which the company plans to use to fuel the sales and marketing of Omni One globally.
The details
Omni One is a 360-degree treadmill designed to give players a fully immersive VR gaming experience. The system features a specialized surface and vest-like harness that lets users walk, run, crouch, and jump in 360 degrees without leaving the center. Virtuix says Omni One can help users burn up to 700 calories per hour, with some customers losing over 40 pounds in four months. The company leverages AI-driven 3D reconstruction techniques to quickly generate high-fidelity, navigable 3D worlds from camera footage.
