The chilly spring weather couldn't dampen the competitive spirit as young golfers from Quincy and Coldwater teed off to start the new season.Coldwater TodayThe Coldwater Golf Course hosted the first events of the season for the Quincy and Coldwater boys golf teams on Tuesday. Quincy won their tri-match against Potterville and Climax-Scotts, while Coldwater defeated Hillsdale Academy in a dual meet. Both teams saw strong individual performances despite the chilly weather conditions.

At the Quincy tri-match, senior Braylon Estlow and freshman Carson Craven were co-medalists with 42s to lead the Orioles to a team score of 179. Coldwater's Jack Aker was the medalist in the dual meet against Hillsdale Academy with a 39, as the Cardinals won 210-223.
