Mosaic CCDA is hosting Free Weekly Resource Hubs every Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at its Transformation Center in Benton Harbor, Michigan. The events aim to connect people in need with partner organizations that can provide services like workforce training, mental health counseling, transportation assistance, and childcare.
Why it matters
The resource hubs are an effort by Mosaic to address common challenges faced by the local community, such as access to essential services and resources. By bringing together various partner agencies, Mosaic is making it easier for those in need to connect with the help and support they require.
The details
The resource hubs are held in conjunction with Mosaic's Fill the Fridge Program, where donated food is distributed to those in need. Mosaic President Andrew Robinson says the Wednesday timing allows them to reach the people already present for the food distribution. Partner organizations like Riverwood, Corewell Health, banks, and credit unions participate in the hubs to offer their services.
