Emergency Shelter Services of Berrien County is planning its annual Coldest Night of the Year walk for Saturday, February 28 in Benton Harbor to raise money for those experiencing homelessness and hunger. The event is part of a national initiative held in more than 300 communities across North America, and locally will feature both two kilometer and five kilometer routes with a celebration at the finish line. The organization has set a fundraising goal of $40,000 for this year's event.
