Nearly half of Northern Maine General's clients and four staff members will transition to the Central Aroostook Association next month as Northern Maine General closes some of its programs due to financial difficulties. The details
Central Aroostook Association, a nonprofit provider based in Presque Isle, will hire two case managers, a case management supervisor, and an education technician from Northern Maine General. Starting April 1, the association will also manage 75 Northern Maine General clients, with some clients continuing to work with their former caseworkers.
