Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has expanded its residential lending team in Southern Maine with the addition of Gwendolyn Hulit and Alex St. Hilaire. Hulit, a Vice President and Mortgage Loan Originator, and St. Hilaire, a Junior Mortgage Loan Originator, will be based out of the bank's Portland office and focus on helping current and prospective customers find financing solutions.

Gwendolyn Hulit brings over 5 years of banking and mortgage experience to her new role, having previously worked at Bangor Savings Bank and U.S. Bank. Alex St. Hilaire has 14 years of mortgage industry experience, serving most recently as a Mortgage Loan Officer at U.S. Bank. In their new positions, Hulit and St. Hilaire will work closely together to assist customers throughout the pre-approval, approval, and financing processes.
