Addison Cyr scored 18 first-half points and finished with a double-double as the top-seeded and undefeated Mattanawcook Academy girls basketball team defeated eighth-seed Orono 64-30 in a Class C North quarterfinal at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor.

Cyr, a 6-foot-1 forward-center bound for Husson University, had 25 points, 12 rebounds, six blocks, four assists and a steal. Senior guard Megan House added 14 points, seven assists, two steals and two blocks for Mattanawcook. Orono received eight points, three rebounds and two steals from sophomore guard Madison Sinclair and seven points and six rebounds from junior forward Nina Mitchell.
