On March 22, the Hebron Fire Department was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident with reported injuries at the westbound intersection of Route 50 and White Lowe Road. The incident was upgraded to an accident with rescue, and Ladder 5 arrived on scene to find a two-vehicle collision with both vehicles having gone down an embankment. One vehicle was overturned and on fire, and occupants were trapped in both vehicles. Command requested five additional ambulances and two Maryland State Police medevac helicopters to transport the injured to area hospitals.

Additional patients were transported by ambulances from Hebron, Salisbury and Parsonsburg to TidalHealth in Salisbury for treatment.
