DAP, a leader in home improvement and construction products, is expanding its Dynaflex line with the addition of Dynaflex Ultimate, a new advanced latex sealant designed for professional performance in window, door, siding, and trim applications. Dynaflex Ultimate offers remarkable flexibility, adhesion, and all-weather durability, with formulas that can be applied in temperatures as low as 20°F and 30°F and bond to wet surfaces.

Why it matters

The new Dynaflex Ultimate sealant solves long-standing challenges for contractors and remodelers, providing the flexibility, adhesion, and ease of use they rely on, while also enabling application in low temperatures and on wet surfaces. This helps extend the sealing season and ensures reliable, long-lasting protection against air, water, and moisture intrusion.

The details

Dynaflex Ultimate is available in white and clear formulas that meet ASTM C920 standards for flexibility and durability. The white formula is Class 50, while the clear is Class 35. Both formulas are designed for easy gunning, tooling, and water cleanup, and provide lifetime resistance to mold, mildew, and algae. The white formula can be applied in temperatures as low as 20°F, and the clear in temperatures as low as 30°F, allowing projects to continue even in cold weather. The sealant also bonds to wet surfaces, ensuring reliable performance in damp or unpredictable job site conditions.

  • Dynaflex Ultimate was introduced in April 2026.

What they’re saying

“One of the biggest challenges on the job site is staying productive when the weather turns cold. The Dynaflex Ultimate white formula can be applied in temperatures as low as 20°F, and the clear formula can be applied in temperatures as low as 30°F, which means projects don't have to wait until spring.”

— Megan Youngs, Director of Product Management, DAP

“Dynaflex Ultimate brings together the qualities contractors and remodelers rely on — flexibility, adhesion, and ease of use — all while solving long-standing challenges like low-temperature and wet-surface applications. It's the best of both worlds, with the ability to be applied in low temperatures along with the paintability and ease of use that latex provides.”

Dynaflex Ultimate is now available in 10.1 fl. oz. cartridges at The Home Depot and other select hardware stores and home centers across North America.
