The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a one-year contract with wide receiver Hollywood Brown. Brown was a first-round pick by the Baltimore Ravens in 2019 out of the University of Oklahoma. He spent the last two seasons with the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs, where he had 587 receiving yards and 5 touchdowns in 2025. The 5'9" receiver will now join a talented Eagles receiving corps that includes A.J. Brown, DeVonta Smith, and others.
Why it matters
The addition of Hollywood Brown gives the Eagles another dynamic playmaker in their passing attack as they look to build on their Super Bowl LIX appearance. Brown's speed and big-play ability will complement the skills of the team's other top receivers.
The details
After not receiving any Division I scholarship offers out of high school, Brown played at a junior college before transferring to Oklahoma, where he became a first-team All-American in 2018 with 1,318 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He was then drafted 25th overall by the Ravens in 2019. Brown spent three seasons in Baltimore before being traded to the Cardinals, where he had over 600 receiving yards in each of his two seasons. He signed with the Chiefs in 2024 but was limited by an injury during the preseason before returning for the playoffs.
- Brown was drafted by the Ravens in the 1st round in 2019.
- He played his first 3 NFL seasons with the Ravens from 2019-2021.
