Maryland Students Shine in Black History Oratory Competition

Twenty Maryland high school students participated in the 2026 Black History Oratory Competition hosted by WJZ, delivering 500-word essays on historical quotes and competing for cash prizes. The top finishers will be announced live on WJZ's special broadcast on February 28.
