At approximately 9:45 a.m. on March 20, 2026, vice detectives and members of the Neighborhood Response Team approached the apartment and announced their presence. As they did so, a male later identified as Edwin Semiday attempted to slam the door shut on the officers. Detectives were able to enter the apartment and detain all eight occupants. In addition to the drugs, detectives also recovered digital scales, packaging materials, and cutting agents - all indicative of drug distribution operations.
