At the MIAA Division III Central sectional wrestling tournament, East Longmeadow and South Hadley had strong showings. Teammate Ferrero captured the 165 lb championship by pinning Quincy Upper's Jarmanny Rivera in 2:40. South Hadley's Ramos won the 175 lb class, defeating Holliston's Grady Kiley 14-4 in the final.
