Carole Ann (Cassidy) Lombardo, an 83-year-old resident of Onset, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully at home on February 14, 2026, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the recently widowed wife of the late Anthony P. Lombardo, to whom she was married for more than 62 years.

Born and raised in Boston in 1942, Carole Lombardo moved to Ashland, Massachusetts with her family in 1955 and later graduated from Ashland High School. In 1963, she married her high school sweetheart and began raising a family in Holliston, Massachusetts. She was a devoted mother who put her family first and welcomed her sons' friends into her home. Lombardo also raised Lhasa Apso dogs for several years and had a career in banking after retiring to Onset. One of her most meaningful experiences was a pilgrimage she took to Medjugorje, where she found strength, purpose, and comfort in the Blessed Mother Mary.
