Published on Feb. 18, 2026

Middlesex Community College is hosting transfer fairs on both its Lowell and Bedford campuses to introduce students to different four-year colleges and universities. The Bedford Transfer Fair will take place on Monday, Feb. 23, and the Lowell Transfer Fair will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 24. The fairs will welcome more than 40 colleges and universities, including the five University of Massachusetts campuses, allowing students to explore transfer options and save on tuition costs.

Why it matters

MCC helps students transition to four-year schools across New England and nationwide each year. The transfer fairs provide an opportunity for students of all ages and stages to connect with representatives from various colleges and universities, learn about the transfer process, and explore the many options available to them as they plan their academic futures.

The details

The Bedford Transfer Fair will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 591 Springs Road, while the Lowell Transfer Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cowan Center Cafeteria, 33 Kearney Square. Students can save thousands on tuition costs and complete general education requirements by starting at MCC, and the MassEducate and MassReconnect programs allow all Massachusetts residents who have not yet earned a bachelor's degree to attend MCC for free.
