Joanna Hoose of the Chelmsford/Billerica/Tyngsboro gymnastics team captured second place in the all-around competition at the Merrimack Valley Conference girls gymnastics championship meet held on Tuesday night in Salem, New Hampshire. Hoose had impressive results, winning the beam event and placing third on bars and floor.
