HUNGRY, the workplace food platform serving over 1,000 corporate clients across North America, has announced the acquisition of 6AM Health, a Boston-based operator of fresh food fridges and onsite markets. The deal is HUNGRY's second acquisition in 30 days and extends the company's platform into one of the largest workplace food markets in the country.
Why it matters
The acquisition of 6AM Health allows HUNGRY to expand its comprehensive workplace food platform into the Boston market, which has over 1 million office workers across the metro area. By combining catering, pantry, and fresh market programs, HUNGRY can now offer employers a single platform to address their workplace food needs.
The details
HUNGRY currently operates across 24 U.S. and Canadian markets, generates more than $110 million in annual revenue, and is tracking toward a $150 million run rate. The addition of 6AM Health brings 250+ fresh food fridges, serving 30,000 employees daily with more than 200,000 purchases in the last 12 months. 6AM Health was founded in Boston in 2018 to address the lack of healthy and convenient food options in professional environments in the city.
- HUNGRY announced the acquisition of 6AM Health on April 2, 2026.
- HUNGRY's merger with Canada's hungerhub was in February 2026, 30 days prior to the 6AM Health acquisition.
