Gianna M. Assuncao, a Clark resident and neuroscience major at the University of Scranton, was among a group of students and professors who presented research at the 2026 Eastern Psychological Association Conference in Boston. Assuncao's project, titled "Phineas Gage Case Study: A Hyperbolic Depiction Across Introductory Textbooks," was co-authored with faculty member Patrick Orr, Ph.D., associate professor of psychology.
