Rasco, a native of Shreveport, Louisiana, played for LSU from 2011 to 2014, appearing in 48 games and making 26 starts. He finished his college career with 154 total tackles, 19.5 tackles for loss, and 10 sacks. After his playing days, Rasco had stints in the NFL with the Packers, Buccaneers, and Steelers before transitioning to coaching. He has prior experience in the SEC, serving as an analyst at Texas A&M, and most recently was the player development coordinator at Louisiana-Lafayette before joining the LSU staff as an analyst. Rasco will team up with new defensive line coach Ty Warren as Mississippi State looks to improve its defensive front.
