Sr. Monica is survived by a brother and sister and had a 76-year career as a Dominican sister, earning certifications in religious education, Reiki, and foot reflexology. She ministered as a seamstress and in religious education throughout Louisiana before moving to Kentucky in 2012 to begin a ministry of prayer and presence.
