The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries (LDWF) will host a public Zoom meeting on Thursday, February 26th at 6:30 p.m. to discuss proposed changes to the 2026–28 Hunting Regulation Notices of Intent (NOI). The meeting will cover updates to general and WMA hunting seasons, turkey seasons, and migratory bird regulations. Public comments will be accepted through March 6, 2026.

Several amendments were also adopted at the February meeting. Public comments can be submitted to LDWF Wildlife Division Director Dr. Jeffrey Duguay via email, mail, or at monthly LWFC meetings through March 5.
