North and South Todd Elementary Schools in Kentucky dominated the recent Governor's Cup district academic competition, with the two schools combining for 21 individual wins and finishing first and second in the quick recall competition. The schools' academic teams traveled to Stevenson Elementary in Russellville, Kentucky for the event organized by the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition (KAAC).

In addition to the 21 individual wins by 15 students, South Todd Elementary took first place in the quick recall competition, while North Todd finished second. North Todd also won first place in the Future Problem Solvers category. When the total scores were tallied, the two Todd County schools were separated by just 0.5 points.
