Princeton and Caldwell County Fire Chief Brent Francis announced that the local fire department has added a brand new brush truck to its fleet, replacing an older model. The new brush truck, acquired after attending a safety conference, features lighter hoses that are easier to deploy and is more efficient in water usage when fighting fires.
Why it matters
The addition of the new brush truck will improve the fire department's ability to respond to and combat wildland and grass fires throughout the Princeton and Caldwell County area, enhancing public safety.
The details

The department then traveled to Evansville to pick up the vehicle and bring it back to Princeton, where it is now in service.
