According to Kentucky State Police, three officers from the Department of Corrections, Probation & Parole arrived at 2821 Marquees Drive in Paducah to conduct a home visit. While at the residence, the officers encountered Rayshawn Tucker, who was not associated with the home visit. Tucker then attacked the officers, stabbing one of the probation and parole officers with a knife. In response, the injured officer and another probation and parole officer shot Tucker. Tucker was transported to Baptist Health Paducah where he was later pronounced deceased.
