A 22-year-old Paducah man, Rayshawn Tucker, was fatally shot by probation and parole officers after he attacked and stabbed one of the officers during a home visit on Friday in McCracken County, Kentucky. According to Kentucky State Police, three officers from the Department of Corrections, Probation & Parole arrived at 2821 Marquees Drive in Paducah to conduct a home visit. While at the residence, the officers encountered Rayshawn Tucker, who was not associated with the home visit. Tucker then attacked the officers, stabbing one of the probation and parole officers with a knife. In response, the injured officer and another probation and parole officer shot Tucker. Tucker was transported to Baptist Health Paducah where he was later pronounced deceased.
