The Trigg County softball team made history by winning the Class 2A Sectional championship, defeating Union County 18-1. The Lady Wildcats pounded out 20 hits, scoring in every inning to claim their first-ever state tournament berth. Kady Fuller led the offensive onslaught with a 4-for-4 performance, including a home run and 5 RBIs.
