Unverferth Manufacturing Company, an Ohio-based agricultural equipment manufacturer, has been awarded the prestigious AE50 Award from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers for its Air Command™ Section Control System. The innovative technology, designed for Unverferth's Pro-Force® dry fertilizer spreaders, allows for more precise and efficient fertilizer application by enabling operators to independently control four spreader sections.

The details

Unverferth's Air Command technology allows operators to independently manage four separate sections of the Pro-Force dry fertilizer spreader. This enhanced control improves precision when applying fertilizer, reducing waste and helping farmers save on input costs. The system was engineered to provide better coverage in irregular-shaped fields and around waterways or field boundaries where more careful application is required.
