More than 460 entries from 89 AHP members were submitted for the 2026 competition, which covers content published in 2025. Finalists were chosen by a panel of media professionals who reviewed the submissions and provided feedback. American Farriers Journal is among the top five entries in one or more of the 43 award classes.

The annual AHP Equine Media Awards Dinner and Presentations will be held on May 16, 2026.
The Going the Distance, Going Together Equine Media Conference in Lexington, Kentucky will host the awards ceremony.
