Despite the cool and gloomy weather, nearly 150 Special Olympics athletes from 13 central Kentucky counties participated in a track and field meet in Georgetown on Saturday. The event is one of eight regional qualifiers leading up to the Special Olympics Kentucky State Summer Games in June.
