Lauren Mayes, a senior distance runner at Hopkinsville High School, has announced her commitment to continue her athletic and academic career at Georgetown College, a private liberal arts institution in Kentucky that competes in the NAIA. Mayes was a consistent performer for the Hopkinsville cross country and track and field teams, making multiple appearances at the KHSAA state championships.

The details
