An ambitious highway reconfiguration project aims to improve safety and road conditions along a vital transportation corridor in Northern Kentucky.Florence TodayThe Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) will hold a series of informational meetings in April and May to provide details on a roadway reconfiguration project planned for Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) in Boone and Kenton counties. The meetings will be held in an open house format in Florence and Erlanger, Kentucky.

The details
As part of a resurfacing project, KYTC plans to reconfigure the roadway on Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) between Turfway Road (KY 1017) and Commonwealth Avenue (KY 236). Drainage repairs have already been completed, and crews are expected to address base failures in the coming weeks to improve the road condition.
- The first informational meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 7.
- A second meeting will take place on Thursday, April 23 at the Florence Government Center.
- The third meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 5 at the Erlanger City Building.
