There are only two seats remaining for a free three-day hunter education safety course hosted by the Todd County Game and Fish Club in Elkton, Kentucky. The course is designed to help students earn their hunter education card and covers topics like hunter ethics, wildlife conservation, firearm safety, and more.

Kentucky law requires anyone age 12 or older to complete a hunter education course before legally hunting in the state, making this free training an important opportunity for aspiring hunters to get certified and learn critical safety skills.

The details

The course will take place from Thursday, March 26 to Saturday, March 28, with Thursday and Friday sessions at the 1976 Todd County Courthouse from 6-9 pm and the Saturday session at the Todd County Gun Club from 7-8 am. All course materials, firearms, and ammunition will be provided at no charge. Students must attend all sessions to receive their hunter education card.
