The WKU Hilltopper softball team earned their third straight series win on Thursday, defeating Sam Houston in a doubleheader. WKU won the first game 9-1 in a run-rule victory and took the second game 6-1. The Hilltoppers' hitters combined for five home runs and 22 hits across the two games, while the pitching staff limited the Bearkats to just two runs in 12 innings.
