Owen Donahoe, an 80-year-old resident of Shawnee, Kansas and formerly of O'Neill, Nebraska, passed away peacefully on February 8, 2026, surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on February 19, 2026 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Shawnee, with a rosary and visitation the prior evening at Amos Family Funeral Home.

Donahoe was a longtime Kansas resident, having moved from his native Nebraska, and was deeply involved in his community. His passing marks the end of an era for his family and the Shawnee community he called home for decades.

Donahoe is survived by his wife Charlene, five children, 16 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, as well as numerous siblings, in-laws, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. Memorial contributions can be made to Kansans for Life and Homes for Troops in his honor.
