The 18-2 St. Mary's-Colgan girls basketball squad played host to the 15-1 Independence Lady Bulldogs. The Lady Panthers came out quick, taking an early lead, but the Lady Bulldogs responded well to keep the game close. St. Mary's-Colgan played a high-court, full-press defense that forced several turnovers, and they were able to retake the lead and win the game 54-31.
