The City Clerks and Municipal Finance Officers Association of Kansas has named Elizabeth Kelley, the City Clerk of Overland Park, as the recipient of the Mildred Vance City Clerk of the Year Award. Kelley was recognized for her exceptional service, professional dedication, and significant contributions to her community and the municipal clerk profession.

During her tenure, she also helped streamline the city's animal licensing initiative, improving service for residents. Kelley's leadership extends beyond City Hall, as she served as the 2022 President of the CCMFOA Executive Board, championing initiatives to elevate the municipal clerk profession.
