Jewell City Council Holds January Meeting

Council approves community patrol contract and adds new members to land bank board

The Jewell City Council held its regular monthly meeting on January 5th at City Hall. Mayor Darrell Bohnert and all five council members were in attendance, along with City Clerk Kevin Thompson. The council approved a community patrol coverage contract presented by Sheriff Don Jacobs, and also approved the addition of Jacob Burks and Ryan Cates to the land bank board. Other agenda items included property evaluation updates, maintenance reports, and approval of the monthly clerk's report and billing ordinance.
