Beef Quality Assurance Trainings Set for Kansas

Three in-person sessions scheduled across the state in March

The Kansas Livestock Association is hosting three in-person Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) training sessions across the state of Kansas in March. The free trainings will be led by Kansas State University beef extension veterinarian A.J. Tarpoff and include a complimentary meal.

BQA training helps ensure beef producers are following best practices to deliver high-quality, safe beef products to consumers. These sessions provide an opportunity for Kansas ranchers and farmers to get certified or renew their BQA credentials.

The details

The BQA training sessions will be held on March 10 at the Washington Sales Pavilion, March 12 at the Anderson Building on the Lyon County Fairgrounds in Emporia, and March 24 at Fort Scott Livestock. Each program will begin with a complimentary meal at 6:00 p.m. followed by the training led by A.J. Tarpoff.
