The Lake County Prosecutor's Office has approved multiple felony charges against 24-year-old Kevin Richard Osika of Cedar Lake, Indiana, following an extensive investigation conducted by the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit in cooperation with the United States Secret Service. The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) provided a cyber-tip regarding suspicious online activity involving an Instagram user, leading investigators to identify Osika as the individual associated with the account.
